Vibrant with healthy youthfulness; the life and soul of the party. Bold and dauntless, distinctive and enthralling, tough but seemingly lovely. When stepping among nature, reptiles and arthropods that commonly release uneasiness into a human's insides, Cara Delevingne owns them. She's stares at them like a predator about to pounce or just glares in a distasteful demeanor. She grips the snake with impressive control and keeps the toad still and at bay. The crocodile does not even dare move when situated next to her.
These are a selection of photographs from the winter issue of i-D magazine, Thoughtful. I love how the vivacious coloured clothing and mixed-up prints fit seamlessly with the settings and how Cara's eyebrows, which are creatures themselves, could fight off a spider any day.
(I'm sorry but please try to ignore the random black splodges which mischievously appeared when scanning in these pages. I'm hoping you don't notice them but they really annoy me *sad face* )
