Down in Albion...they're really stylish

This year in particular is a year to embrace what's great about Britain (what with the Jubilee and Olympics come summer) and just recently I have been overcome by patriotism, finding myself searching for items of clothing which are quintessentially British.

One brand that have tickled my fancy is Holland Cooper, British-based and lavishly luxurious (they are the go-to label of many of the Made In Chelsea cast), reworking tweed to produce urban cool for the country folk.

The jackets seem perfect for a spring day (especially when the weather is so temperamental) with the light-weight material, presentable appearance, and military detailing. But what I'm really drawn to is the capes. A trek across muddy fields with a pair of Burberry emblem wellington boots? yes please!

Alternatively, how cute are these little gems, printed with a traditional London guard, courtesy of Cath Kidston? I just wish the shirt was sold in adult size!
