Sunday 30 September 2012

please excuse the squinting; the sun was in my eyes.

sweater: Topshop; Necklace: A gift; FYI, that is not bird poo on my jeans..I think it's porridge :-(
Sat on the roof terrace of my brother's London apartment in my beloved dinosaur sweater and a necklace expressing my love for the capital. (I'm sorry it's not very clear but it's Big Ben with a love heart) Today I stopped by the Tate Britain to admire the Pre-Raphaelite artwork courtesy of the Pre-Raphaelites: Victorian Avant-Garde exhibition currently taking place until January. My personal favourites from the seven rooms of work to marvel at included the ever desirable William Morris tapestry and the Renaissance women with their winsome red hair. I think Florence Welch would have made the most perfect muse during that period of time (disregarding the solemn facial expressions all the paintings entailed).

As I feel this post needs more photos, below is me during a short boat trip across the Thames. Doesn't the river look delightfully picturesque with its murky brown tint? Underneath the dismal sky, I cannot think of anything more attractive.

I hope you all had a fabuloso weekend!
