Louis Vuitton Resort

Pictures taken from www.fashionising.com
It is difficult to get the balance between quirky and tasteful Parisian style but Julie de Libran at Louis Vuitton has achieved just that. Whether you prefer to glam it up in a one-shouldered tunic and sparkling dress, keep warm during a stroll through the city in a two- tone fur coat, or dress like a woman in a long, flowing maxi skirt, one thing is for certain...more people should dress in this way.

Valentino Resort

Walking down the beautifully cultured Italian streets,
graceful and dainty with each step
Equipped with the fresh, sensuous scent of perfume,
and a cultivated mind full of whimsical thoughts

Whether it is the long dresses adorned with appliqué flowers, the pretty lace within a dreamy yellow knee-length dress, a lilac silk jacket, and a heavenly white blouse, or the overall elegance that surrounds it, beauty is very much the centre of Valentino's pre-summer collection. Even the darker clothing (an alluring midnight blue) is freshened up with contrasting white collars and cuffs for a refined look, and the slightly more wild, edgier side which is unleashed via the leopard print dresses, is kept feminine with a bright pink.

Carven resort

Easy to wear, stylish, Parisian cool. La maison Carven is one I would happily live in.
The most recent collection has a playful quality to it, which is perhaps created by the simple use of a pallet containing primary colours placed together like lego bricks. Coats are clean-cut and neatly made and cute contrasting collars occur in true Carven style. In terms of the suits (which are always appealing), you can take your pick from a light tweed-looking, apricot coloured number and a bright orange pleated skirt and blazer combo.
Bon magasinage!

If you're a fan of any of the above, the chances are you will be satisfied with Stella McCartney's latest resort collection. If you are a fan of all of the above, the chances are you will love it. McCartney knows what people like and she knows how to create pleasing outfits that are going to sell. This eclectic mix has meant she is has included near enough everything that's popular within the public's fashion sense. Nobody is left out. And how can you not appreciate her for that?

My personal favourite: The pastel jumpers which I think are (maybe) the new Christopher Kane and House of Holland stripe jumpers from the last pre-summer collections.

Salvatore Ferragamo resort

Previously I mentioned the spurts of colour within Marc Jacobs' pre-summer collections but what about the men? Well look no further than the poolside of Salvatore Ferragamo's latest offering as it has definitely taken colour popping into open arms with the sunny, clean cut jackets and bold shorts and trousers. Although it's kept simply to oranges and blues, when in contrast with the crisp white, it has a satisfying turnout that's pleasing to the eye.
My favourite looks are the above but I imagine, if the weather got a little nippy, one of the camouflage-style jumpers would look just as fine.
