Sunday 3rd June

Jacke and top t: H&M, Shoes: Dr Martens, Bag: Urban Outfitters, Face: Not my best
With a wash of misty grey covering the sky, heavy rain and a cool, damp chill lurking in the air, the scene was very much a typical British one. But, amongst the endless rows of umbrellas and the drenched-through anoraks, was an atmosphere alive with the warming woops 'n' cheers and excitable clapping. People of all ages were gathered with their union jacks, all bonding with one another for the same reason. That's a pleasant sight to see and one with makes you proud to be British. I mean, who in this country does not like a celebration?

My outfit, pictured above, was not my initial outfit. However, I had to have a complete rethink last moment to adjust with the weather. Overall it's very casual and perhaps slightly preppy with a touch of British punk (shoes). I made sure my colour pallet was kept to British colours as I wanted to show how patriotic I was feeling without looking cheesy.

Did any of you embrace the Jubilee? Take part in any street parties or show your admiration for the Queen? If not, what were you doing?!
